Formscan By Gary Carson - Mount Everest is a very interesting runner here on his return to action but it's hard to know what to expect after such a long absence. He was last seen when just edged out by stable-mate Japan in the Beresford at Naas last September and was actually the yard's first string that day. It may be safer to stick with a horse with recent form and the one that gets the vote is LEO DE FURY. He looked like he would appreciate stepping up to this trip when just failing to peg back Buckhurst over ten here last month. He is fancied to turn the tables on that rival now. Buckhurst has won his last two and has to be a leading contender. He takes a step up to a mile-and-a-half for the first time here now and that could well bring further improvement as he's a son of stamina influence Australia.
