Formscan By Michael Graham - Unbeaten LANCASTER HOUSE could take the leap in class in his stride. This will be his second race in a week after winning in Listed company at Listowel on Monday. He didn't appear to have a hard race in Co Kerry, though, as he tanked along and readily put the race away in the final furlong. Afterwards, his jockey Donnacha O'Brien mentioned that he was impressed with him and that he travelled around Listowel very easily. That victory followed on from a comfortable success in Tipperary and a wide-margin victory in a maiden at the Galway Festival. The three-year-old Galileo colt is a horse of considerable ability and potential. Suedois appeals most of the older generation. David O'Meara's raider landed this race two years ago and is a very solid campaigner in Pattern company. The eight-year-old gelding was last seen winning a Group 3 at Goodwood by a neck last month and, prior to that, was placed in four Group races in a row over the summer (and wasn't beaten far in any of them). He looks likely to be heavily involved at the business end. Surrounding is in a rich vein of form and arrives on a hat-trick after successes in a Group 3 and a Listed race. She is well worth a shot at this prize.
