Formscan By Tom Weekes - EARLSON GRAY fits the profile for this better than some of the others, having run well over hurdles recently. He is without a win in Ireland but this race looks quite winneable for him. Apt Approach rates a big danger and is a useful type at his best. This event does look an ideal opportunity for him and he is sure to be fit despite making his seasonal debut here. The lack of recent hurdle experience for both Apt Approach (over three years) and Gates Of Rome (two and a half years) shouldn't really affect either of these seasoned horses much and the latter is another with solid claims here. Uncle Tom Cobley is another better known as a chaser while Prince Rudi needs to return to his very best to win.
