FormscanBy Donal Murphy - Ger Lyons has done very well with his juveniles so far this campaign, and it might be worth taking a chance on his MARCHONS ENSEMBLE. Speaking at Leopardstown on Thursday, Lyons said: "I have been tender with my two-year-old's this year. We would normally have tried a load of them but are taking them along quietly this year." This approach is clearly paying dividends, with Justifier, Siskin and Peace Charter all winning on debut. The other O'Brien representatives are newcomers Calidus Mirabilis and Crossfirehurricane, and it would come as little surprise if either were to deliver on the first time of asking. Power Source ran a nice race on debut at the Curragh, and looks to have solid claims, while Amelia Jane and Graduate Goddess are others for the shortlist.
