Formscan By Alan Magee - FAN DE BLUES was competitive in valuable handicaps last term and put that experience to good use when readily making all in a Punchestown beginners chase in May. His form since ties in with Gin On Lime including a Grade 3 victory over that useful mare at the Galway Festival and he looks capable of defying topweight here. Ilikedwayurthinkin is an obvious threat. He won twice over hurdles at the 2019 Galway Festival and has been something of a slow burner over fences before scoring this autumn over longer trips at Ballinrobe and Galway. Montagne D’argent beat the selection here in March despite jumping left throughout but has been absent since a heavy fall at Thurles later that month.
