Formscan By Alan Magee - BOB OLINGER was a crack novice hurdler last term winning a Grade 1 at Naas and following up with an impressive victory in the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. The Sholokhov gelding was an impressive point-to-point winner for Pat Doyle before joining current connections and is obviously a really exciting prospect. The selection will certainly not have an easy time with the likes of Ashdale Bob, Bacardys, Column Of Fire, Diol Ker and Master McShee also showing a high level of form over hurdles. Ashdale Bob won twice at Grade 2 level last term, while Bacardys held a career high rating of 157 over hurdles but has been let down by his jumping over fences in the past.
