Formscan By Gary Carson - This looks between the two Willie Mullins runners and preference is for GLENS MELODY. She looks to be improving over timber and the style of her victory at Leopardstown last time was impressive. She was really motoring in the closing stages then and this extra couple of furlongs should be to her advantage. Tasitiocht is Patrick Mullins' ride so there is probably not a lot to read into jockey bookings. She returns from a short break having sustained a cut after her cosy victory at Wexford in early December. This trip is probably more suitable as she impressed over it at Navan previously. The handicapper has given her a mark just a pound below her stable-mate and given that she gets 3lb she looks well treated. Byerley Babe is well regarded but after being turned over at a short price in a Punchestown maiden hurdle last time she has something to prove.
