FormscanBy Gary Carson - VEDANI was the best of these on the level and looks a nice sort to go jumping with. He was rated 90 on the Flat and won his maiden at the Curragh on testing conditions which looks a big plus. His new trainer has shown that he is a emerging force and is sure to have him well schooled for this game. Diakali is the unknown quantity here and obviously deserves respect given the stables record with French imports. He has shown ability in his homeland including a runner-up effort and most of the French horses handle this kind of ground. Danequest may prove the best of those with hurdles form, following a fine debut effort when chasing home Brog Deas at Cork earlier this month. Crouching Harry has the most jumping experience and has to be considered on a couple of decent placed efforts. He should be involved again.
