Formscan - KABRAL DU MATHAN went to Cheltenham as one of the most exciting horses in training and looked like justifying the hype when sauntering into the lead at the last in the Stayers' Hurdle. The petrol gauge quickly ran on empty, but he remains a top-class prospect and will be much happier at this trip. Jingko Blue landed a gamble in handicap company in the BetMGM Cup before coming up short in the Liverpool Hurdle. He is another who will be suited by the drop in distance, although he was firmly put in his place by the selection in the Relkeel. Lucky Place was third on that occasion and then even further behind his stablemate at the Festival.
