FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - Tom Mullins had hunter certs for a couple of his wife Helen's horses this year, SPARKY STOWAWAY and Chozen. I'm pretty sure they were both entered up a couple of times, and Chozen did compete twice, falling at Borris House when shaping up well at the second last. He then finished second at Loughbrickland. I don't know if it can be seen in any way significant that Sparky Stowaway has been kept back for here. It'll be interesting to see how he goes in the market and he could hardly have a man in better form on his back in Patrick Mullins. The Doninga handler did mention the selection in an Irish Field stable tour in January when he said: "I have some nice young horses coming through. Sparky Stowaway and Chozen are the pick of them. They are not that far off a run and I'd imagine that we'll find a bumper for them in the next month or so. I like them and their work at home suggests that they'll be competitive in bumpers."
