Formscan  - IMPERIAL SAINT proved to be a consistent type over hurdles and has now taken his form to another level with a brace of victories at Aintree since sent chasing this autumn. Although he has to give Petit Tonnerre 11lb, having received just 1lb when beating him by less than a length last month, that rival hasn't won since his UK debut in February 2022 and has subsequently disappointed at Cheltenham. Issar D'Airy won twice over C&D last season and arrives following a decent second at Ascot, while Prince Quali was last seen beating subsequent Red Rum winner Sans Bruit at Chepstow.
