Formscan - THE GOONER was a respectable fourth at Wetherby in January and, with two subsequent winners coming out of that race since, the form looks strong. The son of Flemensfirth was leniently dropped 1lb for that display and he tries first-time cheekpieces, which could eke out improvement.
