FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Connections of CARRIGMOORNA PINE will be hoping for a better result on the gelding's second run at this venue and can defy top weight. The point-to-point winner was the subject of a running and riding enquiry when beaten 33.75L here in November with his trainer describing him as a 'big slow animal that was very one paced' in the enquiry, with the performance being 'noted'. Next stop for CARRIGMOORNA PINE was Clonmel, again over two miles, where he romped to victory by 7.5L, in a maiden hurdle for unplaced horses. The form of that lowly race has worked out remarkably well in the interim with the second and third both filling second place in Christmas handicaps while the fifth placed horse won his next start. CARRIGMOORNA PINE should prove able for his 125 rating and is very well suited by trip and going. Fauguernon won a big-field handicap at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day and while he isn't helped by a 6lbs rise, has an obvious form chance albeit he did disappoint at this venue in November. All of Act Of God's Irish form has been on a sound surface but he has shown form on testing ground in France in the past. He is interesting in his first handicap hurdle, coming here fit from the all-weather, but does lack a little experience. Texard has run twice over hurdles in his native France and has run well enough in two maiden hurdles in Ireland but probably needs to improve to win. Advanced Virgo's best form has been on a sound surface and was well held on soft at Galway latest while Randalls Ur Poet has ability but remains tremendously frustrating to follow and is now winless from 31 runs.%0A
