FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - KINGS BANDIT has been put in very short in the early betting for this event, and it's probably easy enough to see why. The King's Theatre gelding has a rating of 128, and the opposition he faces here isn't too taxing. A nine-year-old at this stage, the selection hasn't won in four outings since joining Gordon Elliott, but there was merit in his efforts for the Cullentra House handler so far. Kings Bandit hasn't been flawless in his jumping on his chase starts, and that'll give rise to hope for anyone of a mind to lay him at the skimpy odds. Crosshue Boy can provide the sternest resistance to Kings Bandit, and the chase debutant is a point-to-point winner. His form has come on good ground though.
