The American-bred colt travelled sweetly into contention then before galloping away in style for a nine-and-a-half length win. He looks a smart prospect and it's a big bonus that he is proven in this type of ground. Whirling Dervish, the other winner in the field, looks the danger. He also won in good style when scoring on the second of his two starts at Tipperary last October. His yard looks to be coming back into form and getting 7lb here is obviously a big help. Marlborough Sound ran a couple of nice races in maiden last year and it will be interesting to see how he goes getting a nice chunk of weight.
