Formscan By Gary Carson - MASTERMIND could be well treated here on his return to the Flat. He showed some smart form over hurdles last winter, including when chasing home Mitchouka in Grade 3 company. Charles O'Brien's charge has dropped 6lb since he last ran in a Flat handicap and only had the two outings in handicap company on the level so is still relatively unexposed in this sphere. Song Of The Sky looks the obvious danger as she comes here bidding for a hat-trick. A 10lb rise for her win at Limerick last time will obviously make life a bit tougher but she looks progressive and is capable of another big show. Shane Crosse takes 10lb off her back again which will help. Happy Company was well beaten on his return to action here last month but is capable of better than that and has form on soft ground. He might be able to get in the picture now.
