Formscan - Gentleman De Mai has been off the track for more than a year, but he made a perfect start to life over hurdles when scoring in a novice event at Ayr last October and, in handicap company for the first time here, he commands respect. Preference is still for POST CHAISE, who was a good second over a bit further at Newcastle and a repeat of that effort on his comeback could see him take all the beating. Pavlik makes most appeal of the remainder.
