Kashi has gone close on a number of occasions including at Fairyhouse on New Year’s Day and would probably appreciate some rain. Everlastingpromise has won three times in handicap chases but is very lightly raced since scoring in impressive fashion at Killarney nearly two years ago. He looks thrown in compared to a current chase mark of 139 but disappointed on his last two starts and hasn’t shown anything like the same form over hurdles.
