The Milan gelding made an encouraging return after a near two-year absence when placed here in a maiden hurdle (Minella Cocooner finished second) and confirmed he’s on a competitive mark when finishing well to take third in a 24-runner handicap at Fairyhouse on Easter Sunday. Kells Priory won over this trip at Gowran on Thyestes Chase day and has been placed twice since including behind the progressive Macs Charm. Rock On Seamie added to three Flat wins when taking a handicap hurdle at Navan last autumn and was just denied in the final strides on his latest start at Limerick. Ballyadam Destiny stays well and is another for the shortlist.
