Formscan By Gary Carson - This should really be a straight-forward task for LATROBE who drops back into maiden company now. He was sent off favourite in the Group 3 Gallinule Stakes here on 1,000 Guineas day and ran a fine race to chase home Platinum Warrior. Obviously that form looks outstanding in the context of this race and it would be disappointing if he couldn't open his account now. Baliyad looked like he would improve from the experience when making his debut at Navan last month but would need to come on a fair bit to turn over the hotpot now. Kevin Prendergast's newcomer Desert Chorus looks worth a look it the market while it will be interesting to see how Tornado Watch, twice a winner over hurdles recently, fares in this company.
