Colin Kidd's charge has been runner-up twice over fences since winning on his return to action on the Flat at Clonmel early last month. He scored in good style on the level then and although that was on heavy he is versatile ground-wise and probably prefers it better. A 7lb rise looks fair enough and this doesn't look the most competitive race now. Aydoun wasn't beaten far when eighth to St Stephens Green over course and distance recently.
