It's hard to say if he would have won if Royal Boru had stood up at the last in Perth but he was staying on to challenge and it was a good effort regardless, over hurdles, with a nice gap to the rest. His previous effort over fences make him the pick anyway as he chased home Mallards In Flight at Clonmel and that rival has gone on to frank the form with a fine second at Kilbeggan and a comprehensive victory at Punchestown. Corporate Box comes here on a hat-trick after two wins over hurdles and with her now up to 112 over timber it looks a prudent move to run off a 13lb lower mark over fences. She looks a big danger. Illtakeitfromhere is another who returns to fences after victory over the smaller obstacles and looks on a nice mark if she can transfer that form. Up Sluggarh was a wide-margin winner on his handicap chase debut at Wexford and despite a 10lb rise should still be a leading contender. Sacre Malta has run well on his last couple of starts over further and could be place material while Baby Whizz has won and been narrowly denied on his last two visits here so warrants a look on his return.
