Formscan By Michael Graham - RED KING was caught over further in Leopardstown, so this drop in trip could see him make the breakthrough. He raced prominently the last day and was all out in the closing stages before going down by half a length in second close home. He was far from outclassed in fifth in a higher grade over a similar trip on penultimate start in Naas. Daonethatgotaway is in a really good place with three victories and two runner-up berths in his last five appearances. He didn't feature in his one previous attempt at this sort of trip, but is now in the form of his life. You wouldn't want to be ruling out Theophilos, Dancing Steve or Eastern Wind in a good race.
