The imposing son of Definite Article was successful at Tramore in December and while he has failed to follow-up in four starts since, he has put in some decent efforts in defeat. Due to carry top-weight here, he will be helped by the seven-pound claim of rider Gary Noonan. Classic Concorde is given second preference. He won by twenty-seven lengths on his latest outing over fences and was placed on two of his three starts since. He will also be ridden by a seven-pound claimer, with Dillon Maxwell doing the steering. The 'very ironically' named Laid Back Luke was a surprise 40/1 winner at Fairyhouse last month and it'll be interesting to see if he can follow-up. Killesk Ben Rose won this race twelve months ago, but hampered the runner-up in the closing stages and the result was later reversed. Fifth on her comeback run at Clonmel earlier this month, she could well make her presence felt now. My Oakclahome, Minellafordollars and four-time course winner Cappacurry Zak are others for the shortlist.
