Formscan By Gary Carson - Un Beau Roman has run away with a couple of events at Downpatrick and is the obvious one to start with here. The northern track can produce exaggerated distances and he probably wasn't beating a whole lot so it may pay to take him on. BOB LE BEAU has taken a bit of time to get the hang of things over hurdles but was very impressive beating a decent field at Down Royal last time and a repeat of that would maybe be enough to collect this. Curley Bill won as expected down in Cork on his return to hurdling but it wasn't much of a race and the runner-up has been beaten since. He looks to have it tougher now. It was a poor enough contest that Flanagans Field won in Kilbeggan and he needs to improve a good bit in this grade.
