Formscan By Gary Carson - THE SHAUGHRAUN should be capable of opening his account here. He looks progressive and ran a cracker at Bellewstown last time when chasing home Minella For Value. He seems to go well on a decent surface and may not want too much rain having looked moderate enough on a couple of point-to-point runs in testing conditions. Clonard Lad has to overcome a long absence but given his trainer he is unlikely to lack fitness wise on his return. He showed a decent level of ability but it was over three years ago and even given the connections it's hard to back him. The bumper that King Shabra won down in Listowel, back in June, has worked out well and he's an interesting one making his jumping debut. Cool Khan has some fair enough placed form at a moderate level and could reach the frame again while Red Or White ran poorly at Tramore last time but may be capable of better having shaped with promise at Cork previously.
