Formscan By Gary Carson - Minella For Value got a hard enough race to finish second at Galway during the week and it may pay to look elsewhere. LETTER OF CREDIT hasn't run since falling at Galway early last month but looks to have found a nice opportunity after a couple of nice runs over fences previously. He may have been flattered to get so close to Rebel Fitz at Ballinrobe but it was still a decent run and his previous third to Sizing Rio at Tipperary was also a fine effort in the context of this race. Sam Da Vinci looks open to more improvement and could be a nice chaser in time but will probably want further than this to be seen at his best. Sir Vincent wouldn't be a stable-star but has run a couple of nice enough races over fences this term and has to have a shout here while two JP McManus-owned horses down the bottom, Gentleman Duke and Stop The Clock are interesting recruits and are worth keeping an eye on for the future.
