In a race like this it might be wise to side with an experienced, tough handicapper, and LEAH CLAIRE fits that bill. She is in good form of late, winning her last two, and with Leigh Roche taking three pounds off, she can be expected to go close, carrying just eight stone one. Justification seems to be versatile trip wise and after finishing a close up seventh in the Chester Cup on his last start, another good performance looks likely from him. Listed winner Bob Le Beau has to contend with top weight but he could run a big race at a decent price, drawn on the rails in stall one. With Jamie Spencer booked to ride Clara Bel La is another to consider after she won at Tipperary on her last start. Fitted with cheekpieces for the first time, Parkers Mill has each-way prospects as do Beach Of Falesa and Fairview Star.
