Formscan By Michael Graham - Joseph O'Brien won this race last year and could repeat the feat with DAWN OVER OWNING. The No Nay Never colt saw out a mile and six really well in Killarney when getting off the mark by a neck in mid-July. He could start to make headway over staying trips. His penultimate outing in Leopardstown reads well as although he was a somewhat remote seven-length second to Red Kelly, the latter then defied a 21lb hike to score in the Ulster Derby. Eight And Bob is sure to have plenty of supporters on the back of a closing third in an extended two mile handicap at the festival on Tuesday evening. He has to go on the shortlist. Likewise, Alabaster came in second in a handicap hurdle on Thursday, and now attempts to exploit a mark of 70 on the level. Swelltime is interesting after obliging in a maiden hurdle at Gowran Park. On his previous start, he lost out by the minimum margin in a mile and a half handicap at the Curragh. He can certainly be effective off a mark of 62.
