Formscan By Alan Magee - EL FABIOLO is a perfect five from five over fences and impressed in the Irish Arkle over C%26D last year before adding Festival wins at Cheltenham and Punchestown. The crack novice made a pleasing return when readily landing the odds at Cork before Christmas and is difficult to oppose. Gentleman de Mee was also a Grade 1 winner as a novice and once again will try to lower the colours of an odds-on stablemate having beaten Blue Lord in this race 12 months ago. He probably needed the run when reappearing behind the progressive Dinoblue here at Christmas with Saint Roi and Captain Guinness both struggling on the testing going. Any improvement in ground conditions would assist the latter.
