Formscan By Gary Carson - STATE MAN is going to be a very short price and looks impossible to oppose. The Doctor Dino gelding put stablemate Impaire Et Passe in his place here at Christmas and it's hard to see that rival turning the tables. State Man should claim this for the second year before having another shot at Constitution Hill next month. Impaire Et Passe was so impressive in his novice campaign last season but hasn't really taken the next step yet this year. He is still a classy sort though and looks the one most likely to give State Man something to think about. Bob Olinger seems to be back to somewhere near his best this season and was an impressive winner at Cheltenham last time. He may just need a bit further than this though at the top level.
