Formscan  - Having found only a higher-rated rival too strong in a maiden at Southwell last month, BOWEN ISLAND makes plenty of appeal reverting to handicap company. A reproduction of that performance on turf should make Kevin Ryan's gelding tough to beat and a breakthrough victory could be on the cards. The biggest threat may emerge from Hyperchromatic, who is entitled to build on his recent fifth-placed reappearance at Newbury, ahead of the fellow downgraded opponent Hot Property.
