For a selection I'll side with DONT GO MAD. The Charles Byrnes trained five-year-old is without a win in thirteen starts but has some useful form to her name and ran well to finish fourth in a similarly competitive contest at Limerick earlier this month. Freewheelin Dylan is given second preference. Rated 130 over fences, he'll be looking to take advantage of his much lower hurdles mark of 113. He ran a fine race to finish second on his most recent outing at Gowran and it'll come as little surprise if he manages to go one place better now. Handicap debutant Mister Fogpatches is an interesting contender for Pat Fahy, while Downpatrick winner Persian Wind is another leading hope.
