Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - Many were intrigued by the prospect of seeing Townshend make his debut as a handicap chaser in the Galway Plate. Willie Mullins looked nicely covered for that event though with Ballycasey, Alelchi Inois, Shaneshill, Arbre De Vie and Haymount so Townshend adds lustre to what promises to be a good contest here. Peregrine Run seems a natural at this game and he's on the up and up, but the nod falls in the direction of DON'T TOUCH IT. In the Jessica's Jewel section of her Racing Post column on Monday Mrs Harrington said: "This is a fella I hope can go right to the top over fences and he's my best chance of a winner this week. We brought him back in early so he would be ready for this race and he seems in great form. He is a very good jumper and the ground should be ideal so, I have to admit, I will be a bit disappointed if he gets beaten."
