Quotes on Gold Dancer (FR)
Of my runners, I thought Westport Cove would win but Gold Dancer is by Doctor Dino, who is a horse we like, and Sean gave him a lovely cute ride. He left Paul (Townend) do all the donkey work, had one crack at him and it all worked out. Westport Cove basically races flat-out so you just try to get a breather into him and while Paul thought he had enough breathers got, Gold Dancer is just improving. There is probably more improvement in him than the other horses we ran in the race. Today was the first time he showed me on the racecourse what we thought and think of him at home. We'll go down the novice chase route with him now at the big festivals and hopefully he is good enough to go on to the Drinmore Chase in December. After Gold Dancer (FR) finished 1st at Galway on Thu, 31st Jul 2025 2m 2f Novice Chase Good to Yielding

Quotes on Jacob's Ladder (IRE)
Jacob’s Ladder was stepping into a graded race and he has now won a lot of prize money (adding today’s €21,000). He was very gutsy and is going the right way over fences. He picked up and galloped, so we are very happy. He did get through the ground, although Jack said he struggled on it. He won't go to Cheltenham, we might look at Fairyhouse or Aintree all being well. After Jacob's Ladder (IRE) finished 1st at Navan on Sat, 28th Feb 2026 2m Novice Chase Heavy

Quotes on Kala Conti (FR)
She isn’t the biggest in the world but has a great attitude and had her ears pricked after two fences today. It looked like she wanted to stop with her ears pricked going down the back straight so Paul (Townend, on Kargese) went on which suited us grand, as it made for a good test of stamina. I ran her in a Grade One last season which knocked the edge off her at the end of the season, but she has black type now so it is great. We’ll go home and look at the book, but she deserves a little break now having had two quick runs. It is a long way to go before assessing possible Cheltenham options and a lot of water has to pass under the bridge before then. After Kala Conti (FR) finished 1st at Cork on Sun, 7th Dec 2025 2m Novice Chase Soft to Heavy

Quotes on King Of Kingsfield (IRE)
Jack said he’s relaxing a lot more. He was very keen as a young horse, and Jack said he thought he might have won snugly if he hadn’t nodded at the back of the second-last. I think it was a good enough performance. As soon as the ground goes (soft) you won’t see him until the spring. He’s three races won now (over fences) so we can’t complain. He had to do the donkey work (for Brighterdaysahead) last season and it wasn’t really fair on him. After King Of Kingsfield (IRE) finished 1st at Punchestown on Wed, 15th Oct 2025 2m 2f Novice Chase Good to Yielding

Quotes on Koktail Divin (FR)
He was really good and we’re delighted with that. He jumped brilliant, Darragh was brilliant on him and he picked up really well. He’s had three runs so we’ll see what want to do now. Obviously the lads would love to go to Cheltenham so I’d imagine we’ll go there, and then it’s a matter of whether we’d have a run in between. The Dublin Racing Festival is a big meeting as well so we’ll see what everyone wants to do.After Koktail Divin (FR) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Sun, 28th Dec 2025 2m 5f Chase Yielding

Quotes on Lulamba (FR)
Paul(Townend on Poniros) joined me on my inside which I wasn't too worried about and he's stayed all the way from turning in. He wouldn't be the quickest horse in the world but he's got a high cruising speed and he's probably be one for a bit further next year. He's well able for this trip at the minute. He jumping was good all the way around. I got in underneath three out a little bit but I dropped the revs on him a little bit there. I got to the front but I didn't want to be doing too much from there to turning in. He was just filling himself there and he's kicked off the bend. These are big days, it’s been a big week and a great week for the Donnelly family. Two winners like that is pretty special. We tried to get in the way yesterday, it was a bitter pill, but well done them. Now we’ve done it together. This is a fantastic place, we love it. This is a proper horse for another day. He deserves it as much as everybody. I wouldn’t say he was unlucky not to win in Cheltenham, he couldn’t do anything about it at the time and we got a bit of revenge there. He’s a lovely horse for the future, you wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t come back over fences next year. I don’t know, it’s early days and it’s only the fourth race of his life. He’s a big baby to be doing juvenile hurdles against Flat horses so fair credit to him. After Lulamba (FR) finished 1st at Punchestown on Sat, 3rd May 2025 2m Hurdle Yielding

Quotes on Salvator Mundi (FR)
We know he can jump but he didn’t jump well today because I couldn’t let him. He had to dig in then off the bend on tacky ground in the straight. He had to find plenty, it’s hard to be impressive on that ground but at least he won. He’ll have to build on it but I think he will. He has gears and on that ground it’s hard to use gears to the best effect. I’d say a stronger run race on looser ground, wetter ground even, would be a help to him. The engine is massive. After half a mile I thought this horse can’t win on his first run in six months when he’s pulling like that on heavy ground. Because he was keen Paul didn’t want to let him jump and he didn’t jump, so he’d every reason to get beaten and still won. It looked to me like he took a blow after the second-last and you could see Paul went down and gave him a squeeze and came with a run down to the last. He kept everything tight down to the last and there should be a lot of improvement there. I think in a faster run race, being let jump, he’ll improve. Paul couldn’t let him jump today because he would have been even keener and jumping his way to the front. I wouldn’t be worried about his jumping in a stronger run race. I think he’s probably had a hard race today and I wouldn’t be surprised if he went straight to Cheltenham. After Salvator Mundi (FR) finished 1st at Punchestown on Sun, 12th Jan 2025 2m Hurdle Soft
