Formscan By Dan McEvoy - In what is a very competitive race, ZANAHIYR gains marginal preference over Light Up The Dark. With Josh Williamson taking 7lbs off, this talented chaser is taken to double his tally on the flat after recently scoring at the Galway festival over fences. Rated 156 over hurdles, Gordon Elliott's charge can carry on his good run of form. The aforementioned Light Up The Dark is a dual bumper winner and took her form to a new level when one length third in a Galway handicap. However, this 4-year-old filly has a lot of weight to carry against more battle-hardened rivals, meaning it may be difficult for her to overcome that burden even with the guidance of John Gleeson. The consistent Messerschmitt can complete the placings for Noel Meade after an encouraging run at Galway over hurdles.
