Formscan By Tom Weekes - BURFORD BEAUTY caught the eye when finishing well in a Curragh maiden last month and can benefit from today’s extra furlong. Out of an unplaced dam whose half-sister won an American Grade 2, the selection was well beaten on debut but showed much more on her second start. That form looks reasonable, with the fifth-placed horse stepping forward to win easily next time. Four-year-old Spanish Princess has shown consistently useful form in two starts but is vulnerable to progressive types. Snapretend showed improvement wearing a hood at Limerick last month and while she drops back markedly in distance, should compete. Pete’s Dream should be suited by reverting back up to this distance.
