FormscanBy Michael Graham - Dorrells Pierji certainly knows how to get his head in front having bagged a point-to-point, two bumpers and two hurdle races. He has every chance of getting off the mark on his first crack at racecourse fences. He perhaps wouldn't want the ground too deep but did win well on soft, soft to heavy in places at Listowel last year. WHISPERINTHEBREEZE has man of the moment Robbie Power on board and should be all the fitter for a runner-up finish in a charity race at this track in the middle of the month. He has to be of interest in this rated novice chase given what he achieved last season. He was second in two beginners' chases and a qualified riders' handicap chase before winning a Grade A handicap chase at Leopardstown in February. The six-year-old gelding fell when leading the four miler at Cheltenham and signed off with ninth in the Irish Grand National. He holds a mark of 139 and that body of work makes him a major player in this contest. Choungaya ran well to get up for second in Naas and can get involved. Salsaretta was highly tried in Grade 1 company in her last four races over the smaller obstacles and has to be respected.
