Formscan - Lady Balko found rapid improvement over hurdles last season and although she appeared to be in the grip of the handicapper when last seen, a switch to fences could see the previous point winner resume her progress. Connections have wasted no time in sending Baltray, second over hurdles at Fontwell in May, over the larger obstacles for the first time. Emma Lavelle's gelding is sure to appreciate the switch and he is considered along with recent Sedgefield winner I'm Ravenous. It is IRON D'EX, a winner on his return/chasing debut at Ludlow, that shades preference, though, and he can defy a 3lb rise with improvement likely.
