Formscan - In Excelsis Deo ran with plenty of credit when beaten just over four lengths into fifth in the Plate here last month and boasts an obvious chance running off the same mark. However, his jumping was far from fluent on that occasion and it wouldn't be a surprise if Il Ridoto, who finished eighth in the aforementioned contest, reversed the form, especially if given a more positive ride. A chance, though, is taken on SAIL AWAY, whose efforts this season have suggested he is capable of landing a prize of this nature. Others for the shortlist include Scarface, Final Orders and Idalko Bihoue.
