Formscan By Michael Graham - Henry de Bromhead has said that he is working back from the Gold Cup with MONTY'S STAR and this looks a good starting point for him. There was little to knock about his form in 2024 with runner-up berths banked in Grade 1 races at Cheltenham and Punchestown behind Fact To File and Spillane's Tower respectively. He is ground versatile and has gone well off a break before. Minella Indo won this Grade 3 race a couple of years ago for de Bromhead and he was a very notable third in last season's Grand National at Aintree. Willie Mullins runs four horses with the bookmakers pricing up Classic Getaway as the shortest of them at the time of writing. His form has been in and out, however, he was second in this race last year.
