Formscan By Gary Carson - IMMEDIATE RESPONSE was a big improver over hurdles when joining Willie Mullins last year and looks a cut above his rivals on his chasing debut here. He ran off a mark of 132 on his final outing in a competitive Punchestown heat and the others were not up to that level over hurdles. He is sure to be well schooled coming here and the stables' runners never lack for fitness on their returns. Stony Grey Soil has chasing experience on his side and ran a cracker at Thurles last time when just failing to peg back Pineau De Re. The form of that race is slightly questionable, however, with the hotpot Cadspeed flopping. The sole mare Gerdalia has chased home some decent types in races confined to her own sex and looks to have place prospects here.
