Formscan  - Sounds Russian is a classy performer on his day, with his runner-up effort in last year's Cotswold Chase at Cheltenham arguably his best performance, so he is an interesting contender on the back of his fifth in the Rendlesham in February. However, he could find it difficult up against LOUGHGLYNN, a Grade 2 winner who hit the frame at the same level at Fairyhouse on his latest outing. The son of Vendangeur makes only his fifth start over hurdles and he looks the one to side with. Farnoge is noted too.
