Formscan By Gary Carson - WHISKEY AND RED comes here seeking a hat-trick following his success at Thurles on Sunday and connections can be rewarded for their forethought in entering him here before that success. He defied a 12lb rise for his previous success at the Tipperary course when winning and looks capable of going in again here off a penalty if that has left no lasting marks. He is by far the form horse in this contest. Nivek's Dream ran a nice enough race on his return at Thurles last month and may have been closer but for being hampered three out. He could be the one to give the selection most to do. Take A Shot has been slipping down the handicap and may be capable of better dropped in grade now. Dunroe Boy is capable at his best but his form seems to have tailed off a bit while Hu Ha Jo didn't run too bad over hurdles at Clonmel earlier this month and could get involved for placings in this company.
