Formscan By Gary Carson - A fascinating clash here between champion Salsify and his Wexford conqueror TAMMYS HILL. Connections were expecting Salsify to improve for his comeback effort but there was a lot to like about the way Tammys Hill beat him then and on this testing ground which isn't ideal for the champion Liam Lennon's charge is fancied to comfirm the placings. He has been a prolific performer between the flags but was beaten by Slippers Percy at Loughanmore last month and that rival has to be given strong consideration. He seems to be rejuvenated since going point-to-pointing and has been impressive in opens this autumn. Viking Splash is another decent sort who adds strength in depth to the contest while Merchant Royal doesn't quite seem to be at the same level this season.
