Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - Faanan Aldaar (has a Fred Winter entry) and The Crafty Butcher might be the obvious two to be looking at here but I'd prefer to consider the chances of the Northern-trained pair, DRUMGOOLAND and Golden Firth. There's no doubt that the former has been disappointing but he's a bumper winner here and if the blinkers spark him into action he can put up a big performance at a reasonable price. Better ground and Liam McKenna's presence in the plate will hardly do him any harm either. Golden Firth's last two runs could well be good enough to see her reach the frame now. Captain P K comes here after falling in a Loughanmore 'point,' with decent credentials and if the market suggests as much he can make his presence felt. Of course Faanan Aldaar and The Crafty Butcher have big chances but you'd hardly be falling over yourself to back either at their likely odds.
