Sovereign Cry gets on the right side of the camera this time
From a furlong and a-half down, I said we would get there. I did think that filly (Final Melody) was rocking and rolling. Needed every yard of it and probably needs six or seven (furlongs). The horse that beat him (Gavoo, here last month) I'd say is probably a Listed horse. I gave good money for him; I gave 60 grand for him at the breeze up sale. I could possibly put him away because he is still weak. He will be a nice horse. I love the sire, Ten Sovereigns. I had Crystal Luna and she won twice for us up here.
50/1 shock as Tynan rides her second winner
I'm carrying the saddle as there is three stone of lead in it!. I was running her over the wrong trip. She was previously in Dermot Weld's. We just got a brainwave that we would drop her back. I worked her with Cloudseeker last Monday in the Curragh - he's going to Bahrain - and she worked savage.

Great to get the first one. The horses have been running really well, and we have had plenty of horses placed. This lady had good form coming here today and we were expecting a big run from her. She probably does (need every yard of that), but she will come on plenty now from that experience. She's a big lady and she's learning every day. She's going to improve again. We always thought plenty of her. She's coming now and she is learning off every run. Possibly she will be put away now and we'll wait for the turf to come back or we could come back up again here say in February or March. When she gets a break, she will strengthen up plenty for the break. When she steps up in trip, she will improve. Hopefully, she can bring us to some good places if she is not sold. As of all our horses, they are all for sale. Loved my time riding, and I suppose this was the next step and enjoying every minute of it. It is a completely different avenue to riding them. I have big support from Donnchadh (Doyle), so I have to thank him an awful lot. He has provided me with a yard, and he has filled it as well, so very lucky. I helped out with a few breezers last year and I got a good bug from that then. When Donnchadh and I spoke, that was the next step. There were plenty to train. I have a couple of two-year-olds that haven't run. They will run next year as three-year-olds. I have a couple that might run up here next week. Donnchadh has been very busy buying yearlings at the sales, so we are going
Gonna strikes Gold in division two for Oliver
We always liked this filly. She was named after a song my boys sing quite a bit - it is quite an upbeat song and it is a line from that. She had a nice run first time and worked well during the week, so stepped up. We think there is plenty of improvement, and she was green when she hit the front. She's having a nice blow there, but I liked her attitude. The horse came to her and she found again. Chris gave a good report, so that is always nice. She is (one for turf as well). We will put her away and we'll see for the beginning of the year - maybe start thinking of trials. She has shown us a bit at home, so we were thinking that she was well able to step up on her maiden and they did stretch five-and-a-half-lengths clear. It looks like that (she would get the mile), she hit the line strong even though she was green. The other horse came to her, and she was probably strongest at the line.

Little Queenie makes all for eighth career win
It was just great that she won and the 10lb was a great help, and the draw. She's so game. Ciara (Flynn, daughter) does all the work with her at home, and they get on great. It worked out well. She's in next week over seven (furlongs) - she's unlikely to run. There's not much more unless we go to Newcastle. I wouldn't rule it (Newcastle, Good Friday) out now, but it is just so competitive over there. I think Newcastle would suit her because she would like a stiff six. We probably won't have much more time with her racing. They will possibly cover her next year.

It is good to be back! She loves it around here. She has been breaking badly lately over a mile and a-quarter - very quick at home, but breaking badly. A mile and a-half, she has more time to get to the bend. He (Hassett) told me at the start this was the plan, he was going to get her out smart and maybe give her one behind the saddle if we have to. I have to say with Wayne, it is like you are talking to Seamie (Heffernan) or Niall McCullagh. He's very good and a great understanding of a horse. His feedback is really good, and you just have great confidence (in him). We'll see what the handicapper does. I think we will keep her at the mile and a-half.
