Diego’s Sharkii delivers at Dundalk
Thorne registers fourth success
we left tactics up to Jack (Kearney), he used his head and gave him a brilliant ride. It was probably one of the first nights that the horse has been dropped in. It was an upgrade in the performance considering we were a couple wide off the rail and had a significantly bad draw around here. If they go good and quick over the seven-furlong trip, you can get into it. It worked out perfect for him. Hopefully, that will give him a bit of confidence now and we will mix it between the claimers and the handicaps. He's a grand fun horse for the lads (Shamrock Thoroughbreds). We've had him nearly 12 months now and it took us a while to get things right with him because he is not a simple ride. We will rock on through the winter and find something suitable in January. I'm after using the young lad (Kearney) a couple of times and I'm quite impressed by him. He will be another kid that we will kind of support into the new year. He has kind of been mixing it on both codes, but the lads have highly recommended him and I'll be using him plenty throughout the winter months.

Rookie trainer Thorne records second Dundalk double
Jamie (Powell) has ridden a winner for me a couple of weeks back on Never Shout Never and gave him a super ride, so I was keen to support him. He has delivered again tonight and did exactly as we asked. We will support him plenty through the winter months.
Inchiquin sheds maiden tag at Dundalk
that was a good start and Rob (Whearty) thought she won snugly enough. We don't have her long to be honest and just looking back through her form, I thought she might appreciate a step up in trip as she seemed to stay going quite well. This race came up and it was a risk, but thankfully it paid off. There's a hurdle race there on New Year's Day in Fairyhouse, so we will see how she comes out of today. I’m delighted for the (Stitched Pockets) syndicate and they should have a bit of fun with her going forward.
Uplifting win for Windbeneathmywings’ trainer Flynn
Gallo Dell Cielo probably doesn't want an inch further than 1m4f but he stayed it out fine and did enough tonight. It was his first time up the trip and you never know, but he did it very well. He was there to be shot at and was by himself a long way out, but he's good and genuine.
'Six falls in a car park, he put three in hospital' - tricky Esticky wins
Esticky End came from England for free as he had lost his form. I actually begged a few people to take him, as he a character at home and put three people in hospital earlier in the year! Half the weigh room refused to ride him until Gary Halpin was brave enough to get on him at Leopardstown last summer but he got bruised in the stalls.
