Fri, 30th Jan, 2026  he has been a very frustrating horse for connections as the days we think he will win, he lets us down. However I felt the way he finished off the last day, there would be a day in him. Nothing was really coming to me turning in, so I said I would try and slip the field and he has toughed it out well. Usually, he's a horse that when he gets to the front, he idles and he half-parked today. I pulled my whip through though and he saw it out very well. that's my fourth winner, I had three in the space of two weeks and then nothing for about five months. Pat has a nice couple of horses to go to the turf and I get great support from Henry (de Bromhead) and Danny McLoughlin as well, so hopefully I will start to roll on the turf. P J F Murphy
