The Stewards requested a report from Gordon Elliott, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Banks Boy, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Gordon Elliott reported that he was disappointed with his charges last two runs and no abnormality was found post race. He explained that his charge returned to his previous best form to win this contest. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
